The Children in Crisis Tax Credit is established in RSMo 135.327 and allows donations to qualifying entities to be eligible for tax credits for their donors. Any individual or corporation that has Missouri income tax due under Chapter 143.RSMo, excluding taxes withheld under sections 143.191 to 143.265 RSMo, who makes a contribution to a qualified agency is eligible for up to a 50% tax credit.

Volunteers

With a small staff, volunteers make all the difference in our success. Volunteers are needed in a number of different areas - we are hoping something might match your talent and interest!!!
  • Special Events
  • Maintenance
  • Housekeeping
  • Landscaping
  • Clerical
Because of the sensitive nature of the work at Child Safe, we do require that volunteers complete an application form, confidentiality statement, and complete a background check including criminal history.

Interns

Each semester, we are able to provide an internship for a college level student. Interns help with the day-to-day operations of the Center. Special focus is placed on helping the student intern understand the dynamics of child sexual abuse, the investigation process and forensic interviewing of child victims. Student interns must also complete an application form and complete a background check including criminal history.

For more information about becoming a volunteer or intern, contact us at info@childsafehouse.org
