Carolyn Green
Executive Director
Carolyn Green is the first Executive Director of Child Safe. She began that position in September 2000 following her retirement from the Missouri Department of Social Services that same month. Child Safe opened to serve child abuse victims in February 2001. Carolyn has over 20 years experience working with children and families. She currently serves on Missouri’s Children’s Justice Task Force. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Judi White
Office Manager
Judi White is the Office Manager and has been at Child Safe since 2004. Judi worked for the State of Missouri in various capacities until her retirement in 2003, after 29 years of service. Judi has a son who resides in the state of California, a cat, Bailey, who keeps her very entertained, and nieces and nephews who make life happier. Judi serves on the Board of Directors for the Saline County United Way and is a member of the Sedalia Visual Art Association. She enjoys friends, family, helping others, painting, gardening and decorating.
Beth Jackman
Forensic Interviewer
Beth Jackman is the Forensic Interviewer. Beth received her associates degree in criminal justice from State Fair Community College in 2002. Beth was on the President’s list throughout college and was selected as the top Criminal Justice student in 2001. She graduated with highest honors. Beth has been with Child Safe since January 2002. She started as the Case Coordinator, and in November 2002 she was trained through the American Prosecutor’s Research Institute to conduct forensic interviews.
Stephanie Gilgour
Child Advocate
Stephanie Gilgour is a Child Advocate. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2002 with a major in psychology and minors in counseling and sociology. She earned her Master of Education from Southwest Baptist University in 2003. In Stephanie’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling and reading a good book.
Kristy Woolery
Child Advocate
Kristy Woolery is a Child Advocate and has been at Child Safe since August, 2008. Kristy graduated from University of Central Missouri with a bachelors degree in social work. Kristy enjoys spending time with her children. She enjoys sports and is active in her church.
Debbie Hurr
Development Director
Debbie joined Child Safe in September 2009. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in sociology from University of Central Missouri, a master's degree in public administration with an emphasis in nonprofit organizations, and a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. Debbie brings Child Safe over 15 years experience in fundraising, marketing and public relations. She has 4 children and a granddaughter.
